CLASSIC’S RESPONSE TO COVID-19

Updated May 17th, 2021 to match CDC/Ohio recommendations

On behalf of our 1,000 employees who get up every morning and go to work intent on delivering top-notch service, thank you for trusting Classic Automotive Group with all your automotive needs for over 40 years.

Like many of you, we have spent much of the past year learning about COVID-19, how it is impacting our community, and what we can do to prevent the continued spread of the virus.

We are open for business during these challenging times. Our primary focus, as we remain open, is the health and safety of our employees and customers. We have taken the necessary precautions to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 in our facility, including abiding by the Ohio Department of Health’s “Responsible Protocols” for businesses. We will continue to review and apply guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Ohio Department of Health, and other public health authorities.

Some of the health and safety measures we have or are taking include:

Requiring employees who are not fully vaccinated to wear face coverings on premises.
Guests who are not fully vaccinated should wear face coverings on premises. If you do not have a face covering, we will provide you with one.
Reinforcing good hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette at all times, for everyone who works at and visits our facility.
Reserving the hours of 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm each day for servicing the vehicles of vulnerable guests, including older adults, those with underlying medical conditions, and other people who need extra precautions.
Installing alcohol-based hand sanitizer dispensers throughout all facilities.
Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces throughout the day and at the close of business with EPA-approved disinfectants against COVID-19.
Cleaning and disinfecting loaner and customer vehicles with careful attention to high-touch surfaces (steering wheels, shift knobs, radio controls, door handles, etc.) with EPA-approved disinfectants against COVID-19.
Practicing social distancing (i.e., maintaining at least a six-foot distance) with everyone who works and visits our facility.
Reinforcing social distancing with visual cues like designated six-foot floor separations at service write-up.
Evaluating our common/public areas, removing items where possible to reduce frequent contact from multiple people, and increasing distance between service waiting furniture to six feet or more.
Increasing ventilation wherever possible and continuing to explore ventilation improvements at our facility.
Requiring our employees to conduct daily symptom assessments before coming to work, including measuring body temperature, and requiring employees to stay home if they are not feeling well.
Limiting capacity to meet social distancing requirements.
Encouraging use of contactless payment where possible.
Customers can still accomplish all of their automotive needs, whether in person at all Classic locations, by phone, or online, including scheduling service appointments, sales appointments, or even buying a vehicle for home delivery. We also offer pickup and delivery for service customers.

We will continue to monitor and make necessary changes to protect you and our team members. Thank you for your continued business. We look forward to seeing you soon.
