About the Classic Auto Group
The Classic Auto Group has been selling and servicing vehicles for over 30 years. Founded in 1979 by Company President James A. Brown, Classic began as a single Chevrolet Dealership in Mentor, Ohio and has grown to include twenty three (24) franchises sold at sixteen (17) locations throughout Northeast Ohio.
In late 2009 Classic opened its newly acquired brand, Kia in Streetsboro, Ohio. Kia joins Classic Honda and Classic Nissan on their South Auto Campus, which serves the suburbs of North Akron and Southeastern Cleveland.
The decision to award Classic with the Kia franchise in Streetsboro was made in part, because of the overall business philosophy and high ethical standards established by Mr. Brown. The Classic organization has a reputation as being a cut above other automotive dealerships. Classic has several plans for 2010, some of which can already be seen. In March, Classic finished the revitalization of their Volkswagen facility, located in Mentor. With a completely new showroom and knowledgeable staff, Classic Volkswagen is ready for a new era of service and leadership.
