Today, that dealership is one of the largest Chevrolet retailers in Ohio, and among the largest in the world.

Parts Counterperson Full-Time

Classic Toyota in Mentor, OH, has a full-time opening for a Parts Counterperson. (One year of experience in an automotive parts department required.) This is an excellent opportunity for someone working in an aftermarket situation that is looking for an opportunity to move up to the dealership environment. This position will involve selling parts over the counter, through the shop, on the phone, and via the Internet. Duties and responsibilities include assisting customers in finding correct parts, pulling purchases from stock, and setting up orders for daily shipment, delivery, and pickup.

This is a physically demanding position. Candidate must be able to lift seventy-five pounds (75lbs) from the floor, stand 6-8 hours during a shift, and at times will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.

Additional Careers

Receptionists are an integral part of the Classic Automotive team. With professional phone skills and the ability to direct customers to the appropriate person, they help set the tone for the entire customer experience. Our accounting staff helps keep our company up and running. From payroll to receiving customer payments to paying bills, their positions are varied and never dull. Custodians and maintenance crews keep our facilities clean and 100% functional. Our systems specialists maintain computers throughout the campus and satellite stores and they maintain our central phone switch. With our service, sales, and human resources networks, their computer skills are really put to the test! Our wholesale parts warehouse delivers engines and components to other dealerships throughout two (2) states. Drivers and parts specialists help make our wholesale department very successful.
