About the car Allowance Rebate System (CARS)

Recently President Obama Passed a law called the Customer Assistance to Recycle and Save program (or CARS). The Customer Assistance to Recycle and Save program (commonly referred to as Cash for Clunkers, or the Car Allowance Rebate System), which will be available at registered dealers later this summer, will provide U.S. Government vouchers valued from $3,500 to $4,500 when you trade-in an eligible vehicle and purchase a new one before November 1, 2009 that meets or exceeds specified fuel economy improvement standards.

Program details including participating dealers, specific fuel-efficiency criteria and other guidelines will be provided by the National Highway Traffic & Safety Administration (NHTSA) shortly. Be assured that Classic embraces the move to more fuel-efficient vehicles and is proud to offer a wide variety of gas-friendly vehicles to meet our customers’ transportation needs. In the near future, we will be announcing details about CARS on this page as well as details about additional offers and incentives that can be used in addition to the government-provided CARS voucher. Your vehicle purchase will be a sound investment for both your bottom line and the environment.
